Rabbis are recognized by their respective movement's union. So
all of our Reform rabbis are recognized by the Reform movement's rabbinical union (CCAR),
Conservative rabbis by the Conservative movement's rabbinical union (RA), Renewal by Renewal
movement's union (Ohalah), etc.
Post-denominational rabbis do not belong to movements, so in their case, the question does not apply.
